Winnie is an experienced and versatile artist whose work ranges from detailed watercolor paintings
primarily of birds to large scale expressionistic and spiritual paintings in acrylic.
Winnie honed her expertise designing for glass, porcelain, and textile to companies
ranging from Lynn Chase Designs to Scalamandre.
After graduating from Gettysburg College with degrees in The History of Art and Studio Art,
Winnie continued her career creating unique and custom designs in homes on walls and
furniture. The designs coincided and imitated the fabrics and colors of rooms.
Along with this design work, Winnie showed her artistic versatility by providing her
watercolor paintings to individuals and high end retail stores
in New York and
In 1996 Winnie graduated Magna Cum Laude from The
Fashion Institute of Technology
with a degree in Textile/Surface Design. After FIT Winnie created designs for glass
and porcelain companies that include Lynn Chase Designs. She has also designed
for Scalamandre, the world famous textile company.
Winnie is primarily known for her detailed watercolor paintings which reflect her
love of birds.
She has been in numerous shows throughout her career, and in 2000
Winnie's work has been exhibited at The Bruce Museum in Greenwich,
Connecticut. Winnie's painting abilities range from detailed watercolors to
large 8 feet by 5 feet expressionistic paintings, to spirtural paintings that
emit a high vibration through symbols and color.
As well as selling her paintings through commissions, Winnie has also designed in
detail a set of four mugs and a set of four glasses with specific fly fishing lures
which can be purchased through this website.
